Contrary to what the Boutitie catalogue suggests, this plate has been printed extensively. As for the Amateur (Ba 34), there was a first printing for Ch. Hessèle made by E. Delâtre around 1910. The trial proofs, on japon pelure, are numbered from 1 to 12, the proofs on chine volant from 13 to 35, on tinted laid paper from 36 to 50. The second edition was probably executed by Vernant for Alexis around 1925. There were 25 proofs on japon mince, numbered out of 25 and 25 on tinted laid paper numbered out of 50. A proof of the crossed-out plate was also printed on old paper.
