The Small Rag-Pickers

etching (1909)
A man pushes his small car pulled by a dog. On the right, a young boy carries a bag; on the left, a dilapidated shack. The plate has a scattered aquatint grain.

IFF 1.1, BN, Universität Osnabrück.
The deleted letter. The differences with the first state are then minimal. The bite defects that form spandrels in the upper corners are attenuated, as is the black dot in the middle of the lower edge. These proofs bear the numbering of the Petiet/Alexis edition (ca. 1925).
