A fruit stand, under an awning, on the ground floor of a small house, probably in Montmartre. In the foreground, two children are playing on a wide sidewalk.

The frontal composition of this rather large plate is thought out somewhat in planes, despite the small diagonal impelled by the edge of the pavement. It is perhaps for this reason that the plate was later reworked with roulette and aquatint. It does not seem to have been published.
