The marquee, whose pediment emerges on the left, is seen from the back. It is open on this side, and the artists, in stage costumes, go about their business. Here clowns, there an animal trainer. On the right, two trailers frame a tree at the foot of which a cage has been erected. Three remarks: an encampment near a village (see the Roulotte (Ba 328)), a roulotte, and a woman's face.
