Final state, with many additional shadows on the shadow of the boy and the man and the backs of the window well.

In the second state, 2 proofs were printed (annotated 2nd state) then the shadows behind the man were retouched with drypoint before the final print (75 including 50 on tinted laid paper, for the Estampe Moderne).
