A small picturesque street in Rouen. The shop of the antique dealer is replete with second-hand wares and other old contraptions. The sign bears the L'Estampe Nouvelle inscription. Two children are playing in the street.

The signature is etched in the plate. The first idea for Le Marchand d'Antiquité (Ba 44), this plate is etched in line, with drypoint. It would have been printed by Delâtre, then replated and the following plate regrafted on the same copper.
