Paul Séveilhac, baritone, born in Marmande in 1866, had an international career as an opera singer during the Belle Epoque. In 1906 he married the Canadian soprano Pauline Donalda in London. After the Great War he left the stage and taught at the Bordeaux Conservatory. He died in 1942 in his native city.
