The master chiseller, almost facing right, is absorbed in a delicate work. On the left the apprentice is taking measurements with a compass. They are separated by a large workbench. In the foreground on the right a tub filled with objects. In the background, a window and a sideboard with various chiselled pieces on the cabinet and shelves.
