The dancer is sitting in front of a mirror, looking sideways. The plate is inscribed with the mark of the Société des Amis des Livres (SDAL) in the upper right corner.
4th state, 90 mm × 140 mm.
Printed at 75 impressions, 10 state proofs and 15 artist proofs.
IFF 7.8, BN.
With the reflection of a lamp added above the dancer's head, which reinforces the play of light. Petiet edition, with the dry stamp. There were 25 proofs on thin japan and 50 on hollande, in addition to quite a number of trial and artist's proofs, on both papers, as well as signed proofs.

Priv. coll.
This plate, which belonged to Mr. J. Borderel, illustrated a menu of the Société des Amis des Livres, for which it was marked (SDAL) in the upper right-hand corner. After erasing the letter, it was then reproduced by Petiet and Alexis in 1925.
