Nude Study

A nude woman, sitting on a chair, seen from behind, her bust turned to the left. The body is treated in vigorous hatching with large reserves of white on the left arm, leaning on the back of the chair and the shoulders seen in foreshortening. The background is treated with aquatint and some very rough etching strokes. The plate has sharp corners.
